Everyone’s talking about artificial intelligence—and this year’s Link Logistics Gateway Program asked early-career professionals at our firm to join the conversation. The annual program provides professional development opportunities for recent college graduates at Link Logistics to sharpen their skillsets and expand their networks.
Over the course of three months, the program’s 2024 cohort of 25 participants was divided into teams that were tasked with proposing AI-powered solutions for specific departments. The teams presented their final proposals live to firm executives in Manhattan in October. The five teams’ respective focal areas included Communications & Marketing, Construction, Investments, Leasing and Property Management Operations.
Participants engaged senior leaders across the firm to explore pain points and identify areas of opportunity to leverage AI for their assigned departments. To support their efforts and guide their processes, each team was assigned a senior business sponsor, a case study strategist and a peer advisor who had previously participated in the Gateway Program.
When October arrived, it was time to deliver their AI pitches before a panel of Link Logistics executives: chief executive officer Luke J. Petherbridge, chief financial officer Matthew L. Ostrower, chief administrative officer Sonya A. Huffman, chief technology officer Clark Ardern and chief people officer Bridgette Moore.
“I was thrilled with how curious [the participants] are about our business, their willingness to challenge the status quo with the goal of enhancing our customer and employee experiences and use our data and scale to drive greater insights,” Petherbridge wrote in a recent LinkedIn post.
Congratulations to everyone who completed this year’s Gateway Program and thank you to the mentors who provided support along the way. We applaud the efforts of this year’s cohort to foster innovation as Link Logistics continues to reimagine industrial real estate.
